Home Jacuzzi In Malaysia
Are you thinking of installing a jacuzzi in your home? Well, prices are within affordable range although it is still considered a luxury item for most homes in Malaysia.
Most people don’t consider installing a jacuzzi at home due to space constraints rather than anything else. Affordable houses are just so small.
There are claimed health benefits from using jacuzzis. Most are not conclusive, but if you find that it is a good way to relax your body after a workout, or from daily stress, why not.
Having a jacuzzi at home is convenient. You can always jump in anytime you want without the need to plan ahead, drive somewhere to a club, or spa, to enjoy a relaxing, warm soaking.
You can be assured of cleanliness of the water, and the jacuzzi. Most of all, you have the complete privacy in your own home, and need not share the same water with strangers.
Requirement of a jacuzzi
What you will need is to have a bathroom that is large enough if you want to install the jacuzzi in your bathroom. Some jacuzzis are designed to fit in a corner and are really compact.
Off course if your home is big enough, you can install it at a special room next to your gym, or even semi outdoor area to enjoy a nice view. With some well placed screens, you can have a nice outdoor view without neighbors seeing you.
Depending on the size of the jacuzzi, whether it is for an individual person or for several person, a jacuzzi will need a significant amount of hot water. To keep your electricity bill down, you may want to install a solar water heater to provide hot water for your jacuzzi.
If you don’t want to install a solar water heater, then the next best thing is storage water heater, those that comes with a tank. Instant water heaters is probably not going to supply enough hot water fast enough.
If your house do not have all these, then you will need to factor this in for a total cost.
A home jacuzzi uses a pump to circulate the water through jets. The pump needs suitable wiring since the power requirements are similar to that of an air conditioner. If you are thinking of installing a jacuzzi, you should have or plan to have install 3 phase electricity in your house.
When you plan your renovation properly from the beginning, all these should not be an issue, but if you only have it as an after thought, then it could be added cost you have not budgeted for.
Home jacuzzis are pretty affordable these days. They run from around RM 5,000 up depending on the brand, size, and features.
Although it is affordable, what you need to consider is whether you will actually use it. There are quite a few people who installed jacuzzis but after the initial excitement wears off, find that they don’t have the time to use the jacuzzi.
Then it becomes an added item to clean giving you more work rather than enjoyment.
